If you think it’s the hemp then you can always turn to triploid’s! Cost a little more! Humboldt seed company! Good luck!
More than just Humboldt is offering triploids now. I get offers from this company several times a week: https://trilogeneseeds.com/collections/trilogene-shop

This isn't an endorsement. I have not ordered or grown anything from this place yet. Prices are high when compared to other genetics. However, the OP's hemp farm issue goes away with triploids.

Hello and welcome to our humble abode,
You have some pretty girls there,
And if I were you I would push for another couple weeks so that they can push out some more thc and temps.
As long as it is not getting down below 32 multiple days on end they will be just fine. The drop in temperature to the 30-40,s will naturally push the girls to push thc and terp production up, also bring out more purple and orange.Either way ,welcome to a good forum filled with some good and
Experienced cultivators.Any and all questions you have please just ask,
Sincerely, kyfarmerb1984

Hey thanks, Kyfarmerb1984. This is all an experiment for me to see if I have a long enough growing season where I'm located. I'm pretty impressed with how they're done so far. I'm losing daylight as well as warmth. I'm hoping for a few more weeks! Fingers crossed!

I'm new to forums, not sure what protocol to follow regarding posting, so I'll just continue with the thread I started.
I have some questions for you folks more knowledgeable than I.
My big outdoor girl ( who we think was pollinated by my neighbors hemp field) doesn't seem to be adding more " frost". Trichomes are sparse ( not super abundant on some areas of the plant). She's down to 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Week 8 tomorrow of flower. There are very few amber mostly milky trichomes throughout the plant.
We're also a week past our avg frost date so it could happen anytime. I'll attach a few new photos. What benefit is there in waiting to harvest?

I would let it go longer! No try combs, no buzz! I had one a couple years ago that was severely Tricom challenged! No matter what I did and how long I let it go, very few try combs! And it was weak! To put it mildly! Some growers up Minnesota way won’t harvest until their plants have been kissed by frost! They say that signals the plants defenses to start kicking out Tricom like crazy! Might be worth a try in your case! Just two cents!
