There was someone else on, I think, another site that had the same hoop house setup but what he did was bury 55 gal pickle barrels in the ground and ran DWC in the hoop house. He had some monster plants in there!

DWC means Deep Water Culture. Aeroponics, Aquaponics, Hydroponics, etc.

You don't grow in soil or inert media rather you grow in water that has been oxygenated. What this guy did was bury a bunch of 55 gal pickle barrels and run plumbing to each one. Basically a hydrponic grow but using the sun rather than artificial lighting.
