Why do you suggest to not grow in solo cups? The problems ive been dealing with in the past arent a problem anymore because i know alot more then when i started. It all had to do with over/underwater, premature flipped to flower so i flipped back to veg. Ive had a few other problems but theyre not an issue anymore. I want to grow in solocups because my main problem revolved around being impactiant. So i jist want to flip to flower at a very young age, then grow like that. why would it be a problem growing in solocups? ive got the watering down
Why flip to flower at a very young age? Inpatient again maybe? It’s going to be dam near impossible to pull this off of you haven’t gotten thru a grow yet. Everyone is trying to be polite and steer you in the right direction bc that’s not how to grow proper. They do “solo cup challenges” bc it’s hard to do. It’s a novelty as someone stated above. Your yields will suffer and you will have to have irrigation to water them a lot during lights on or you will have to constantly babysit the plants. Once things start to go south it will happen even faster in a tiny pot. As others have said do you man go for it if you’re that stuck on it. Make sure to post your progress here so we can see this play out. We are trying to help you from making a mistake.

So here’s my advice to you. Look into earthbox sub irrigated planters. It’s a big planter that lets the roots really extend and your plant will grow vigorous and you will yield wayyyyy more. These Sips (sub irrigated planter) have a resivoir at the bottom and a small tube sticks out of the soil and all you have to do is look down the hole and if there’s water then you are good. If it’s dry you fill it. The plant drinks as it needs it and you never over/underwater again. These systems will take the guesswork out so you can get to harvest. Look at the picture below I have 3 setup in a 5x5 tent. These things are set and forget it’s really that easy. Check out some YouTube videos from buildasoil to learn more. Good luck!

Ok, i understand more that its not very easy to do. My plants are about 2-3 nodes in right now, when do you recommend flipping? (theyre all regular so i need to get rid of males) i got 9 1 gal pots, and a 3x3 tent. i already got like 20 plants rn so i want to at least grow what i can, hope for 10 females, and try and grow 1 in a solo cup the rest in 1 gals. I dont care too much about yeild, i just want to grow literally any amount of weed.

I dont believe i could fit any bigger then 9 1 gals, but after thus run im going to grow im bigger pots, and go for bigger yeilds. I just need to learn what to do atm.

If you're dead set on growing 12/12 from seed in solo cups, the basic process really isn't any different than anything else. Give them enough light, water, and food and they will do their thing. It's just very hands-on and fragile compared to conventional methods - if you mess up your routine, it can fail very easily. Not to mention it's hard to find a consistent routine to follow in the first place unless you have experience otherwise.

No matter what size pot you grow in, if you let the plant out grow the pot you will need to have your grow game dialed in to keep the plants healthy.

Key here for ur impatience is plant them about 2 weeks apart so you have a continuous harvest - yep need another tent! Lol
I got another light i just need another tent and more space. i gotta get another tent

A mature plant ready to flip has alternating nodes - if the fans are on the same plane then the plan is not mature enuff to flipp in my opinion , there is a lot guys running 12/12 from seed but I believe a mature plant grows better quality buds in
