Hello all. I am new to growing plants in general. Attempting to grow cannabis as the laws in my state have opened up to allow such activities. We are having problems. The plants are "dieing" front the bottom up. The lower leafs get brown at the tips working in and then up the plant to other leafs. I have read that is can be a potassium deficiency. We upped the potassium but it does not seem to be helping. We have also:

Raised plants from floor to increase root zone temp
Started using bottled water instead of tap
Brought humidity up to 60%
The room is heated between 70*-82*
Feed CalMag one time about a week ago(did not do well)
Foliar spary of Nectar of the Gods Poseidonzime and Bloom Khaos

Hello new grower needs help 2

Strain: Gelato OG
Soil: Fox Farm Ocean Forest
Light: Green sunshine ES300
PH & EC meter: Bluelab wall mount
Nutes: Nectur of the gods

As you can tell, I am not doing very well with this so far. Any help/advise will be very appreciated! If you need any more info that would help please let me know. I am new to forums so I hope this all reads correctly.

Thanks!

Hi. I'm no expert, but it looks like either nute burn or wet foot....I grow in hydro, and my clones don't get nutes till they're at least 2-3 weeks old, and I start them on about 1/8 of normal strength..
Also, if you can, try to see what color your roots are...if they're brownish, that's bad. They should be a nice clean white or cream color...
If the roots look good, I'd flush or replace the soil, and use plain RO water with the correct pH for a few feedings. The damaged leaves won't come back, but I don't remove them till there's decent new growth.
That's the best I've got for now. Good luck!!

Oh, and if the roots are brown, look up how to fix it with hydrogen peroxide or...some other product that will oxygenate the root zone and kill bad bacteria.
However- it can take a while for healing. It may be faster to scrap these and start over...

with ocean forest ,the soil has enough nutrients in it for the first 3 weeks minimum,so stop feeding nute and cal mag,ph your water at 6.5 and that plant should be around 300 to 450 ppm i cant really tell by first pic ,i need a full shot of pic,but stop feeding it the soil has enough in it and when you add your nute line to it,they get double dose and burn the leaves.
you could do a slurry test to see were your soil ph is right now
1:2 ratio 1 part soil to 2 part water ,shake it up in glass or jar ,let it settle about 30 min, then stick your ph pen in the liquid, this will give you the ph of your soil, when you feed again you can measure your runoff for ph and ppm coming from the pot,id suggest that also
