Hi everyone thought i would introduce myself
im a newbie at all this own grown supply and will have a lot of questions in the future.
first off to explain why im here
i was in a car accident in 2006 and suffered severe muscle damage to my back and has been an ongoing problem ever since, i work close with my doctor to keep my pain under control but its getting harder and harder to go through life with the back problem i have, im on a lot of meds including very high dosage of oxycontin after being on morphine for a few years and my body got use to it so it came around that it no longer helped me.
im in uk and a lot of friends smoke and i was offered a smoke one day and to my shock i found that smoking certian strains it eased my back so much, so much so i found a person to get a supply through but as i found out quickly the guy was in it for the money and the quality got worse and worse.
this has now led me to starting my own small grow for personal use only to ease my problems with pain, as a lot of people here know, its against our law to cultivate plants even if it helps with pain that people are in.
i know the risks like a lot of people but the way i see it is that it gives me a better quality of life after the accident as im a family man and my family life suffers a lot through the pain and also the meds given to me by doctor, so the way i see it is the risk is worth it if its giving me a better quality of life and enables me to play with my kids and go to places with them instead of sitting at home 24/7 in pain, feeling sorry for myself.
i would like to see the same idea over here that a lot of you guys have and wish the goverment would wake up and see that this plant has a lot of uses for the medical world, it will never happen but i would like to see the same scheme here with the medical marijuana cards for cases like mine and others that are in pain.
as i said i will have a lot of questions as i dont understand anything about how to grow and have just bought a small tent setup to give growing a go, if anyone can point me in the direction of a complete idiots guide on growing feeding etc please share links as iv searched the site a lot before joining up and used some info on a first grow last year but alas they al failed and the quality of smoke was no good.
strains iv got clones from are
trainwreck, great white shark, psycosis, cherrybomb although im unsure if this is true and could be diff strains.
