My first grow. Doing all organic, in ground. No pots. I do amend my soil ahead of time, to get the microbes up an going. And start my seedlings indoors about mid March, and transplant to soil, typically on mother's day.
Raised three. Middlefork, California Orange, and White Buffalo. Middlefork had to get yanked...male. Other two are doing great.!!!
White Buffalo is growing as mother nature intended, with little interaction from me, besides removing particular leaves to increase light/air penetration.( dense foliage, suseptical to pests and mold/fungus) While the California Orange was topped and stripped of all but two branches below the top. Resulting in two main limbs that created over 20 vertical branches, that are now, branching themselves.
I chose to build a fence around my plants, instead of a single pole, for support. Now as limbs get larger, I can route them thru the fence for limb support during flowering.
