I have a white slime growing on my air stones and in my bucket, can I water with my plants they need the water and don’t have any other option as of now. Is it harmful?
Thanks for the reply! And do you know what is? Was looking online and heard it was was early stages of brown algae or that it was a type of bacteria that liked oxygen so it would grow on the airstonesYour going to be just fine and that is perfectly normal.
It’s going to develope and grow regardless on a air pump.and since it’s getting high ozygen it’s Probally beneficial. You can scrape it off if it bothers you. Thanks for the reply! No problem and you’ll be fine think fish aquarium how the rocks have a slime coat to them. Once it starts slowing down the air bubbles is when I like to scrape them off and give them a rinse.thanks for the reply!
