help decoding a seed release post please

Over on the breeders forum, fellow member ograscal is announcing upcoming seed releases. This caused a fire storm of enthusiasm that turned frantic then hostile then sad then closed thread.
I read through available ograscal links and most of the information consists of "fire dude" being said over and over.
How is a < one year grower/reader supposed to pick up this lingo?

I love the enthusiasm and like to buy good genetics, but what is the back story on these offerings?
It looks to me like "White" is maybe a favored male that is getting crossed with a bunch of known performers. Is this correct?
There is some beautiful photography in some of the reports, but I can't link them with all these cross offerings.
