Hello all and happy holidays! I have a tray of 24 clones sitting 15 inches under my T5. This is my 4th round of clones with this cloning machine and i've had great success so far. But I haven't run into this problem yet.. Most of the tray looks fine but there's several clones that look like trash as you can see from the photos. Can anyone tell me if they've had this problem before and what it is and what I can do about it? The room they're in is between 68-75 degrees. I used a sterilized clippers to cut the clones. RH is 50% but because they're in a cloning machine, humidity doesn't even really matter so i highly doubt thats the issue. Thanks !!!

Well I've seen that before. And it always results in a total loss. And I've had to cut news clones. Don't know a cure.

Hey thanks for the response. Can you give me a little more detail on what happened to your clones? Did you lose the whole batch of clones then? If so, when that happened? Did it happen all at once? Where you walked into your clone room and they were all just brown like a few of mine? Or did a few clones out of a bunch look like mine and then it got worse and worse until they all died? 5 of the 24 of my clones look like the photos above. Trash. That happened about 4 days in. Now it's been 9 days and the others still look fine. I'm so confused!

Well for me it was with a hybrid femenized strain from seed. Kush dominant. And I tried 3 sets of cuts one after the other. With the same result. It's took about 60 attempts to get 5 good clones. I feel like it may be from cutting clones too early. When the mother isn't in peak condition. I like mine to have a nice dark green but not N toxic. All I can suggest is peroxide in the water. And trying to use rapid rooters in separate containers. Bleach and peroxide Cleaning the cloner and changing stones didn't help. I suspect the plant itself is weak to some kind of pathogen or fungus. Not an issue with know robust clones from friends. So very little experience with it.
Guys who grow from seed more often probably have seen it more with their clones.

Are you spraying them at all I’ve seen this happen from over spraying clones also to long in humidity dome which isn’t the case for you?

Tip for the humidity dome, don’t spray your clones, spray the dome inside instead to keep them humid. Clones that get soggy and stay wet will die off :(
