help e-mail photos

Does anyone know of a good program that compress's hi res photos for e-mailing.

I am trying to send a publisher a bunch of pics but cant seem to do it with out resizing the pics.

if u are useing hotmail to send just attach the photo as a file not as a photo when u click the photos u wana send . i had the same problem yesterday sending photos
