HELP having a problem with my Hood

So i moved my babies under a brand new hortilux MH bulb and went to go check on them and the paint on the outside of my hood is bubbling and the hood is really hot i ran a hps 1000 same hood no problem what do u farmers suggest.

not sure im wondering if it has to do with the fact that its 45 degrees outside.Im going to get a magnum xxxl when i flower but im veggin with this piece of crap.

ive had reflectors burn over time even air cooled ones. you can see a brown spot on the outside of some of them but not others of the same make.

How big is the MH bulb? What type of ballast are you using?

1000 bulb sun system pro ballast.

this hood is only for veg im going to get a magnum xxxl hood for flowering and maybe next run im going to getg a cool tube to run vert. to compare the difference.
