Help her out or leave it alone?

Should I help this seedling out with the shell hull or let her deal with it?

I know its tough to say - different every time but...My success rate is not good, maybe 50% of the time I break something. Sometimes its like actually still attached to the plant.
Maybe i just need a better method for removing them?

If i leave it - you think itll compromise the plant somehow, slow it down compared to where it couldve been? Probably, but it cant grow at all if I break it now.

You can also remove it but be very careful, the plant is brittle at this point.

I accidentally lost an energy leaf in my autos removing the shell, but it survived.

I tend to remove them but i don't think it's necessary.

So hard to resist messing with it.
I figure if theres some leaf showing itll be able to work something out eventually.

That looks like it’s gonna pop out of there. But if you REALLY wanna mess with it spray it with water n let it sit for a while n it should soften up that shell
