This is my first time growing and I believe I am in the early stage of flowering , but i have gotten the light cycle messed up , what can I do ? My plant was in the light for well over 24 and I had her in the dark after that for I think 18 hours and then back in the light today , but I don’t know if I need to go back to 18/6 or 12/12 or have a completely missed messed my plant up ?! how can I fix this? Please help I mean. She seems to be doing good considering I haven’t bought any special soil. She hasn’t had any nutrients no plant food for , and now I have messed up

The light schedule, and I’m afraid that she might not be doing as well as I think she because of everything, I’m lacking that she probably means and now this light schedule thing, I don’t know what kind she is , just so happened. My mom ended up having three plants spontaneously growing in her flower bed because my brother had threw a few seats out there and there was three little plants. I brought them home and managed to have a female and I got the mail away from it and I’ve been growing the female ever since. But like I said I am an amateur at growing cannabis I do have house plants and outside plants , but from what I have learned so far is there is a lot more to this than reg plants . Anyway if it’s not hopeless and there still may be a chance in saving my beginners screw ups please let me know , thank you. I am totally stressing because so feel I have stressed her out .. So she has been in the light since about 12 yesterday morning , so I guess I am going to do the 18-6 again , we’ll see you automatically go back into veggie state and not continue to grow if I’m not mistaken I think she just started flowering. How does that work? Who closes? What can I do?

Ok, first and foremost, let’s see some pics of your plant.

During the veg stage I keep my plant at a 18/6 schedule when its time for flower I seal the tent to prevent any light leaks and switch to 12/12.
you cannot interrupt the 12/12 schedule and the plant must remain on 12/12 for the rest of its days ( unless you are gonna re-veg) I am a newby and have no idea about that.

18/6 is for vegging but you can flower autos this schedule. Other than being an auto flower, the plant needs about 12 hours dark, uninterupted, to flower properly. Consistency is key.

See my lights are not on a timer , and I have been in the process of trying get her a permanent spot to grow in , so honestly I will be surprised if she flowers right at all , considering I messed up the light schedule more than once , so I can go back to veg if I need to ? Would that be the best thing to do or 12-12 ? This is the first plant I have had make it this far and I am teaching my self as I go , probably not the best thing to have done , I had a room mate that actually caused her to almost die twice and I managed to get her back , but I don’t know about now and what her future holds as far as my mess ups go , and thanks so much for replying.

You are actually going to want to go to an 18-24 on if your plant is not an auto. As far as feeding you are going to want to stop on any bloom nutes and concentrate on your nitrogen levels. All is not lost, I would also do a bit of research on how to proceed through this process. You need to be patient as your plants will take some time to recover. Let us know how you’re making out. Happy trails….

Not sure me have been taking plants for years under lights then putting the plant in solid darkness for 36 hours then going to a 12 12 light cycle no it didn't hurt the plant it triggers them to flower but I don't grow autos I trigger plants when I won't them to flower here's a example

Man buy a $10 timer at the hardware store, I don't because I can stay consistent. You should.

Based on what you have mentioned, I would get back to a regular light schedule (the aforementioned timer will be a great asset) The res and the blue will work. Keep an eye on your plants and see if they get back to where they were. Keep us updated. Happy trails….
