My grow is this.

600hps
6.4 ph water with first feeding of nutes at 1/4 strength. Fox farm.
3.5 week old autoflowers.
73 degrees max temps.

The tops of my plants where the new leaf growth is real skinny, curling yellowish leaves. They are not really growing very much anymore. From my understanding zinc is locked out due to high ph, but my ph seems ok to me. On the other hand zinc def is rare, and it's normally a cause of ph being off. I'm really having a hard time figuring out what is going on... Anyone please?!

Deficiencies appear as chlorosis in the inter-veinal areas of new leaves producing a banding appearance. This may be accompany reduction of leaf size and a shortening between internodes. Leaf margins are often distorted or wrinkled.

Also gets locked out due to high pH. Zn, Fe, and Mn deficiencies often occur together, and are usually from a high pH. Don't overdo the micro-nutrients- lower the pH if that's the problem so the nutrients become available. Foliar feed if the plant looks real bad. Use chelated zinc. Zinc deficiency produces "little leaf" in many species, especially woody ones; the younger leaves are distinctly smaller than normal. Zinc defeciency may also produce "rosetting"; the stem fails to elongate behind the growing tip, so that the terminal leaves become tightly bunched.

Oh, and move your 600w hps more than 8" away from your plants.

That's because he doesn't have one. His new top growth is yellowing because on another forum he said he was keeping his 600hps 8" from the plants.
