I have a WhiteFire, that also does it. maybe the White has TMV

Some cal/mag products provide Ca in the form of calcium nitrate. So you're also boosting N. It may be possible that's what's addressing the issue, as well. I've seen similar looking patterns that seemed to go away with nitrogen.
