Witch's Broom...

Looks like the main stalk got damaged physically amd/or infected with a bacteria/fungi, then recovered... looks kinda like a supercropped stem.... I have seen growth like that in "dud" plants too (see topic in this forum).

I agree with Dorje.

Also, try not to trim down your plants in such a manner as to create a clogged up crotch like that.

thanks mm do u think its stem root now a white fuzz growing on it an and i wanted to trim the small bud at the bottom to give more power to the top do u think its a bad idea and if so why? and im 3 weeks into flower

when you run your rh so high you've got to be very careful about the moisture/circulation around the trunk. i pull my rockwool away from the trunk as soon as the plant is established, prune the branches away that aren't going to produce, and make sure i've got air moving down there. 'helps to avoid rot and pm.
i like having the room rh between 65 and 70% during veg and at the beginning of flower, but to pull that off without problems you've got to pay some attention to this part of the plant.

You Really need to improve your pruning technique…. especially if your running 800+ plants.

Take those ladies to the spa and give them a bikini wax already…..!

Hahahahaaaa…looks like a 1970's porno in here.

The plant looks fine imo, but do keep an eye out... if it's the dud problem there isn't much you can do.

3 weeks isn't too late to prune but do it soon!

Nope, in fact I usually do trimming beginning at week 1 post-flip, continuing through stretch.
