I use a 12 inch mountain Aire and I neck down with a duct reducer to a 10 inch hyperfan.I like a bigger filter not fan,less restriction and the fans not working as hard so is quieter and lasts longer.
A big fan sucking through a small filter would be restricted.
@Homesteader sealed rooms usually run scrubbers that recirc back into the room.

Theirs no other fan/filter combo thats works for 4 1k light ?
