Hello, so this is my first indoor grow coming to an end
Ive had some issues in the beginning wich stunted their growth so I am aware that theyre not very big

2autoflowers that were advertised 11-12weeks seed to harvest
They are 2 different strains

The buds of the smaller one in front look ready for harvest but has very little trichomes and no amber coloured yet
The one in the back also looks quite done but still no amber trichomes.
The sugar leaves are starting to die aswell but im not sure if I can harvest everything already.
Im starting to stress that they’re already too old

Simple question for people with way more experience than me:
Are these plants ready for harvest?

You can take them at anytime. Those were sick for weeks from toxic N overload and the leaf are not gonna change. They won't get anybetter so take them down and learn your lesson on watering and feeding too much and too frequent.

Hard to tell.. Do you have a jewelers loop... You need to get in there to check the tricks to actually tell.
No, ive got a magnifying option on my phone to check those trichome heads.
I couldnt really see any amber coloured ones

So they will not mature or get any more potent? Because they still make some white pistills

Definitely get a loop. Few bucks on Amazon probably get it same day. Way safer to check. You may have no amber... That's ok but they all need to be milky

Do you agree with the other grower that I should just harvest it now?
I already harvested 2 big buds from both plants that looked more mature

Some strains never go amber some don’t go cloudy if they have been in flower for 8 plus weeks they are done 🫢πŸͺ΄

I guess ill just cut them down now then. They were planted at 15th february and grew for about a month so it would be around 8 weeks now yes

I would chop but that’s my opinion do you see progression in last week at all

I say chop and hope you learned something out of this experience it’s never bad when you make it to the end
I have learned on every single grow either what to do or what not to do I keep notes of everything cuz I forget 🫢πŸͺ΄

Yeah absolutely, there’s some trichomes on the one in front and the one in the back is covered with them. Both are high thc strains so I believe they will still be potent enough to give you a nice high. The only thing for me left to worry about now is the taste.

But overall very happy that I will have some smokeable product from my first indoor grow

The temp and humidity in my drying closet is 25*C and 69% humidity. Since the humidity is so high I should just leave a fan near the door so there is more air circulation. Or is a 69% humidity still a problem even with a fan?

69 little high for my taste airflow where you hang it but no light and no direct fan I try for it to take about 8 to 10 days to dry then trim and jar couple weeks in jar burp everyday I put cheat hygrometer in jar when I’m at 60 I go to grove bags for cure unless I smoke it all

Yes it was 40-50humidity before but I opened my window during the night because the temperature was too high.
That wasnt smart because the humidity outside is around 75% where I live now so it immediately jumped.

I built the setup so that the fan can not blow directly on the bud, the wind is directed into the closet by a barrier
I tried to show it in this video
You can see the hygrometer says around 24celsius and 68% humidity.
Its not ideal but I read online that it wont start to mold if there is a fan providing airflow.

Are there any improvements for this setup?

First off screw the advertisement lol next off screw recommendations lol

Yeah screw the advertisement that said it would take less than 3 months while in reality it took more than 4.
What recommendations are you talking about though?
I feel like the other growers were right that I should just harvest when I made the tread since the sugar leaves were dying off aswell

Hey Auto......

I've gotta kinda agree with starting over....

I've recently went through a battle of shitty media/soil..........held too much liquid.....perlite was near powder......fighting with it for months.....maybe not, but my point is.....

Sometimes it easier to start over......

And maybe, if or and when you drop more seeds......

Use photos, not autos.....autos are easily stunted.....

Photos are very forgiving, especially in veg!!

And um......maybe a smoke report when you get to 🚬 some of your own stash!!!
