I'm wondering if its disinfecting capability would improve the air in the home. Odors from the soil bother my wife sometimes.

I would say no.

The uva light that is emitted does not change the air quality.

I smell potting soil.

I ran hps and mh bulbs... let me tell you after using both.... there really is not much of a difference. Put your hps too close your gonna burn your plants plus heat up... led same thing except not heating up as much....

I'm pretty sure LEDs don't stress or burn plants from heat.

As for the whole mag def.... I needed calmag in my hps grows as well

I've frequently heard more Mg is needed with LED lights, so I increase the Mg a week before flowering as part of transitioning to bloom nutrients. It reduces leaf fading. YMMV, of course.

Thanks. I was just thinking the sanitizing might reduce allergens, like mold spores maybe.
