Bud rot.......mold.

Do you have it elsewhere? Are you in a very humid environment? And I'm sorry I don't know what IPM is.......

And do you have pictures of the entire plant?

The rest of the plant doesn't have it. Ipm is a great organic bug repellent. Yes I live in OK and the humidity is outrageous.
That needs to be cut off immediately, even then you need to wash that plant somehow. That stuff is systemic. I live in south texas, my humidity is 100% 90% of the year. There are mitigation factors you can apply. Is that indoor?

I mean, since it’s so far into flower, I’m really not sure what you would use in an outdoor application. I would just cut the bad spots out. I would cut a bit past the infection and inspect the stem for any irregularities or the remaining bud.

Since it is only one week to harvest should I cut-down early.

If you can make a clean cut and remove the infected area with confidence, then let her finish.

Also, I’m really an indoor guy, I just know that mold and fungus spores transmit easy. So spread is all but guaranteed. That is why I suggested washing, but with as far along as your lady is, I’m not too sure what you would use in that case. That’s why I’m leaning towards removing affected areas. If it is gonna spread, you should see signs of that a couple of days after you take the nasty part off of the plant, you can however “nip it in the bud” punny right?

Here is the plant in question.
Just snag the funk and let that lady do her thang. Looks like it’s isolated to one small spot eh?

Examine all buds carefully. When you see this, it goes into the center of the bud, you almost need to take a loss and chop the area around it too.

It's either botritous or bud rot from catapillar poop. Cut w sterile scissors and dispose of far, far away from your grow. Touch nothing without washing hands completely. Take a small loss now and you'll still have something to harvest. I had an early and late harvest because of this last year.
