Thanks all 😀 is this early signs of entering the Flowering phase?

There's just a slight issue... I've noticed mould on some of my tomato plant leaves so maybe taking them out of the greenhouse and putting them outside would be best anyway as it's getting quite damp in there with the weather cooling down abit and rain

At least outside there's less chance of mould I suppose 👍

naah not yet- it's first part that comes out before preflower- it's called Sheath 😉
and moldy stuff out is right. mold spreads

ps: or maybe stipules. @HerbalEdu is much better in sexing plants 🤣

i circled in red what's appear to be a very young growing preflower, it's way too soon to tell if male or female.

this are stipules, preflower will grow next to them, in between trunk, branche and leaf stem.
Thanks, it's nice to learn all this stuff just wish those in power around the world would see this plant as not a bad thing.... now just need to hide it from the workers who are coming to work on the over head power lines in my garden!!!

Is it of to give it a trim and get rid of the weak looking bits that are abit thin looking? Would this concentrate more energy into the bigger parts?

Also should I trim some fan leaves off now?

Thanks

Well it's been outside the greenhouse now for a few weeks but don't think any flowering action yet but Mornings are getting a little cool now here. As long as its not freezing will it be ok?

Noticed some old fan leaves are yellowing and going Limp / coming off quite easy, is this a bad sign or a sign that more energy is now being directed to the Flowering sites?

Thanks

Will try that as well lol...

Some googling before said the stretch stage during flowering could increase the size 50 - 100% is that right 😲
I have vid explaining 1 sec

This also applies to larger plants as well. You’re just gonna have to be a bit more hands-on if you catch my drift even still if you have anything around that you can use for steaks and maybe some bailing wire should be able to pull a lot of those stalks out of the way, and get yourself a little bit more clearance there, but there are gonna be some here that do need to be cropped

It depends on where the leaves are dying and falling off the plant. If it’s the bottom of the plant, it’s very common for the lower leaves. You know the ones that get the least amount of light and the least amount of airflow they do start to die back from time to time and they go yellow doing it, when it starts creeping up towards the top of the plant, then it’s really hungry for N. plants are fixing to flower at this point you really don’t need giant doses of n T added. You might just want to be given it a quarter dose for the duration of flower in order to keep it green while you’re giving your bloom as well.

As far as cold stress, I’ve seen plants exhibit complete, and total shutdown from the world at 50° some of them can actually stand it, though it just depends on you know where those seeds came from geographically on the on the map, and what Land race strains were used to create your current cultivar That’ll definitely have a bearing on what kind of genetic tolerance To Weather swings. some can stand the cold, some can stand really high temperatures with a ton of humidity and everything in between really.

Nice thanks for that and the video 👍 is there any Nutrients you would recommend? Thanks

For sure. So the last few runs I have been using @greenleafnutrients mega crop.
I run over 30 strains at a time regularly and it’s the only nutrients that I’ve ever used that I don’t have to cater to a single plant when I’m running they all get fed well they all enjoy the stuff. It’s simply ridiculous. How good that stuff is in my opinion, so I went from using five or six different nutrient bottles every time I would go to feed to 50 g of the mega crop per 10 gallons of water for veg and flower. It’s 25 g of mega crop 30 g of sweet candy and the sea kelp so four in total And it’s some of the cheapest stuff I’ve ever used as well cost-effective and stays on shelf for a long time too. I’m probably six or seven months into one bag of mega crop. Here’s some pudding, it’s full of proof, that last pic, is me training my plant to do back flips. 👊🏻🤡

Legit tho, if you are The type to run a few of one strain or you’re ridiculous like me and stuff 30 strains into the spot the mega crop is versatile enough for both applications so versatile and easy is basically how I would sum that stuff up👊🏻🤡

I was just thinking about this and I wanted to add if you are going to go ahead and use stakes and pull some of those stalks out of the way just be be sure to reinforce any of the joints where the stalk you’re pulling might have been topped waaay earlier in veg and there’s another stock behind it that’s joined. you pull these things too far out from where they were naturally you may split that joint and cause damage so generally, I’ll use zip strips and put zip strips around those joints before I do any heavy duty manipulation like that just to reinforce the stress area. It helps wrap it in paper towels to wrap the spot and then wrap that in duct tape, w/e you can use.

I have to look into that mega crop. Indoor I run supernatural brand for that same reason. It's the only thing I've found that every plant loves. Next year I may give it a go outdoors. 👍

You won’t regret it. It’s absolutely invaluable to me. It’s just too fucking easy man.

Yeah, I have run advanced nutrients trio before the micro grow in bloom and then I actually use big bud powder on top of that stuff too, but that is definitely good stuff too just synthetic no worries though because I use synthetic all day too

Hi all, new user here :-)

I planted these thinking I bought Autos but then after checking the site again they weren't lol

Anyway the plant is nice and heathly looking in my opinion but is now 6ft touching the top of the greenhouse almost....

Am I right that this will still "Stretch" when it hits flowering???

What are my options here as the stealth greenhouse grow isn't so stealth anymore.... lol

It's been topped then topped then other bits topped.

What should I do??? Where should I top it now??

I'm guessing it's still Veg Stage. I'm in Northern Hemisphere

Thanks

ALL GOOD ADVICE - it's your genetics no matter what you use or method you use - using nutes you can "trix" your genetics - If in veg for 2 months (very long - i.e depends on strains) just flower it and let it grow maybe bending main stalk if needed

Would I need to use all 3 still or just bloom with it coming close to flowering light cycle?

Thanks again

The way that trio works is it’s what’s called a PH perfect concoction so you will just use all three but you’ll use less of the others depending on what stage of growth you’re in you you know so if if it’s a seedling, you’ll be primarily be using micro in the mix of all the vegetative growth primarily be using more of the grow So and so forth…
