Hello all - looking for advice on re-vegging. Had a room in 2-3 weeks of 12/12, but after this it seems the communication cable between lights has failed, meaning after hear 2-3 weeks of flower they have started re-vegging, and I’d guess they’ve been back onto 24/0 for 2 weeks… can these be saved? Can I flip to 12/12 again and not see many problems (if other factors are ticked)?

Really would like to avoid scrapping if possible but another 2 months to just harvest seed bud will kill me (financially)

Anyone successfully recovered from this?

So from previous answers I have seen... you can go back to flowering but it may cause hermie stress... your yields won't be top notch but better than a lost a crop.

Someone might be able to give more insight to this... but I feel like that is your answer

Appreciate that thanks, I’ve also realized the deficiencies I’ve been getting are due to feeding flower nutes during the reveg (less calcium etc) so I really should’ve caught that earlier!

I’m concerned about the additional stretch when I flip again, so I’ve changed out the res now, and am feeding with veg nutes, and will continue to do so for one week, today I’m also planning g on doing a bunch of chopping back to try and prevent any more stretch. Of course this is more stress but I have little choice as cannot afford them to stretch the height again. I think they may not stretch as much but at the same time that’s an assumption and I’ve no idea. Top / heavy trim down height, allow a week to recover with correct nutes and then flip (and fingers crossed)

My main concern is the additional stretch, at first flip they probably reached their max height, so I’m concerned after hitting re-veg they may become too big and unmanageable in the room… I know it’s more stress but feel my only option is an aggressive chop to reduce height then a week to recover…

yeh ive done it before in flower with out any stress, literally just topped everything because the plants where to tall. at like week 3 in flower it actually helped as well because the plants where to tall. in your case you could easy just chop the reveg parts, then they should recover quicker/ start making new leafs, when they have recovered then flower if that helps.

When it happened to my one run i flushed them then gave them a full 24hr of dark before going back to my normal light cycle but added an extra hour to the dark cycle. The plants didn’t really stretch anymore after I corrected it. The only thing is you have to narrow down what caused it.
Was it stress, to much nutes, light interruption or environmental change like temperature these are all things that can make it happen. Sometime even giving a plant to much molasses if you use it.

That’s so good to know! Was it a heavy chop you gave? Some of these stems are 1/2” I’m a tad concerned but it is definitely necessary. That’s a could shout though I may just top all the main stems pretty low and hope for the best…

That’s real interesting… I was also intending on keeping my night temps a degree or so higher than day to minimize stretch too

yeh it where a brutal one bout 4 tops, where a seed to so where surprized it didnt herm but it didnt where fine.

Vin, I'm no expert but just went thru a re-veg myself. I didn't see much stretch at all on mine, I did have a lot of time though and wasn't in a hurry. I just left them in the tent for 6 weeks at 24/7. Good luck bro

Hey Otto - that’s good to hear - was that 6weeks of re-veg before flip?

I’m tempted to just chop the big stems and let the smallest get to a decent height / recover then flip again after a week… just getting them on the veg nutes to give em the fuel to recover and fingers crossed

Yeah it was. I was vegging outdoors on my deck with intent of bringing them inside late Summer to flower but missed my window.
They had no height at all, wispy stems but had a massive amount of bud sites. I still pulled a QP from each though, keep the faith dude!

I had these 3 clones in pots outdoors and planned to bring them in before they started to flower but I missed my window and they barely started flowering. I brought them in and ran them with under 24/7 light for a couple weeks, repotted them into 7G pots last week. They're ready for the flip but...
