Maybe just cystolic hairs, makes the plants taste bad for predators, gives protection upsets stomachs etc or as Mancorn mentioned just trichromesThis is my first time trying to grow. The subject is a candy cane Autoflower. These appear today they look shiny from a distance but magnifying them they look like little white spots. Any idea what they are? Any idea how I can treat it? Please be as detailed as possible I know very little. If there is a spray of some sorts please recommend a specific spray if there's home remedies please tell me. If it's nothing please tell me but I don't see it on my other plants. I only see it on this leaf.
Looks to me like it's the start of mold I would get that leaf out of thereAre you sure. I can't get a good picture of the closest magnification but they are solid white. They're not Clear like they appear they might be. It is also only on that one leaf. I'm the one middle finger of the bottom Leaf of the plant. The plants are 25 days old. They are candy cane Auto from crop Kings. Those white spots just appeared this morning. I know I did have issues with ventilation and high humidity. That particular plant accidentally got too close to a heater and on the other side the very bottom Leaf I had to cut half the middle finger off. The others are much stronger and about an inch and a half taller now. Do you really think it's trichomes growing on the weakest one? I will add another picture. The one in the middle just seems to be a runt but it's the back right that it has the spots on it.
That was something I was worried about. Any clue what kind? The day before I found a dead flying insect on top of my light. I know we had a problem with thrives last grow. Those look like eggs
