Hello I was hoping someone could help me.
I had a guy help me buy the stuff I needed to set up an 8 , 5 gallon bucket system.
These buckets are basic Home Depot buckets with aftermarket tops which have net pots built in. I'm using hydroton
I have 50 gallon food grade plastic rain barel which has never been used.
I have a 6 or 8 " round air stones for each a really nice external air and water pump.
I just don't know which parts to buy to connect all of this stuff.
My guy disappeared a few weeks ago and I cannot get ahold of him.
So I'm assuming I need hoses and fitments. I'm not sure which to buy, I'd rather spare no expense "within reason" for metal fitments if that would work better.
I have a cycle Timer
I have the Titan Atlas 8
Other timers
And a basic sentinel environmental controller which controls heat , humidity etc.
Large watering rings which go around the base of the plant.
So I guess basically I am trying to figure out how to run the hoses etc.
I see the Oceanus from Titan , which goes to their flow and grow setup.
So I'm assuming this should be pretty close in design to what I'm looking at.
I would like it to fill and empty via external pump.
I don't have the model number of the air and water pumps , but I know I paid $4-$500 for the two, I looked them up and they seemed to be more then adequate, incase i needed more later.
So if anyone could help me I would really appeichiate it.
Which parts, elbows , hoses extensions , hoses and which size you would also reccomend for an 8 5 gallon bucket system.
Where should I put the holes? I figure air through the top and the bigger water fill and empty hose.
I want to be able to remove each unit alone to tend to plants.
So I figure a switch to close off the input/output of each bucket.
I'm using Gorilla original tents I have 5x9 and 5x5 I'm not sure if I will always use 8 buckets in my 5x9. Larger wider plants I may drop down to 6 buckets.
Again, any detailed links, preferably videos.
I have looked and come up with some stuff that was close, but I was hoping one of you may get me closer to the setup I have.
Thank you so much.
