my last grow got choked out and turned white. Ripped that damn thing off and it yielded an ounce more than my other plant. resilient little bastards.

I've had to do it twice now, just sprayed it with water let it soak for 5 mins and it came off pretty easy with a tweezers

Do you have a picture of it? Would it be ok if i see it?

Nah I tossed it. You should essentially be able to split the cotyledons out if it's removed. In that there's now two leaves instead of one bulb type object. If it's split down the middle it should be fine. Otherwise there may still be remains stuck on there.

There is a skin on the leafs that is holding it together. Take a toothpick and run it along the seam and it will come off

All joking aside I'm sorry it didn't make it. Sometimes you have to just accept it wasn't meant to be. Plant another seed and move on.

You're going to be very happy with the results:D

Yes, spit away, or use a drop of water on the seed husk. As is absorbs it'll be forced off by the cotyledons. Don't let it dry out till it's off, and dont try to snap it off.
