Hi, I have been battling these little bugs. I thought they were thrips larvae and treated them with Monterays spinosad spray. After a couple treatments they are still alive and kicking. Now after a closer look I think they are too small to be thrips, I cant seem to ID them in any of the online bug threads or pics. Usually with this usb microscope I can tell what they are pretty clearly but I cant tell. Maybe someone here could give me a positive ID help?

I just hit them with azamax to see if that will kill them but it would be nice to know what Im fighting.
They look like they might be whitefly larvae but I dont know. I can't find any bugs further along in the life cycle to get a better ID. nothing flying around in the garden and these are not visible by the naked eye.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks

I scrolled through the sticky threads a couple times. Maybe I am missing something. I have had thrips a few times and they have been obvious with my usb microscope, and spinosad would clear them up. These are smaller than the thrips I am used to seeing. I dont see the normal silvering of the leaves associated with thrips. I am just asking around to see if its something I am missing. Ill try to take a few more pics this evening.
Thanks for taking a look.

Springtails live in soil ;)

Those look like some other nastier bugs. Keep reading. There are only 20 pages.

Ok, russet mites are a possibility.

I have had spider mites and these are not spider mites or thrips, I searched for russet, mites and broad mites and they look them.

Cycle through several different remedies so they don't get resistant. There's a thread about russet mites by caregiverken you might wanna look up. Should find some valuable info there. Use the search.

Looks like Russets?
Check the thread im working on about Broad Mites
Russets arent as hard to eradicate as Broads but if you treat like u have broads then guaranteed youll kill them.

If this plant is in flower Id advise throwing it and sterilisation of everything with bleach followed up with a pylon fogger and forbid or avid dip on any new clones or plants you re enter into your grow

They are the russets Getto, i dealt with them this year aswell, was not in veg so i had to use a different approach ...

Plan is to spray hard and heavy in veg, and not let them build up.

Ill use Sulfur Spray up to flower.
