Hi all,
I've recently started a new indoor grow and my plants are showing some signs of discolouration. I was hoping someone could help me identify what is causing this change.

Anyone got any advice on what the cause is or how to identify?

Can you tell us what you’re add to the medium and what medium it is?

How far away is the light? Is et cetera et cetera? Anything you think will help

Kinda looks like a magnesium deficiency, but I’d like to get a better look at the whole plant if you could

Thanks for your reply!

I am using a simple store bought potting mix. The medium pH has been fluctuating between 6.5-7 over the last few weeks.

I've been using a organic nutrients fertilizer with the following composition (found on their website):

Nitrogen - 2.07%
Phosphorus - 0.107%
Potassium - 1.95%
Plus: Sulphur, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Iron, Manganese, Zinc, copper, Cobalt, Boron and Molybdenum

I've stopped adding grow nutrient once I saw the yellowing increasing. But it seems like it got worse.

The lights are about a half meter away from the most effected plant. Overall growth seems to have slowed down.

In this set up I have multiple plants all showing varying signs of nutrient problems. Also I had a caterpillar infestation ;(

The first two photos are of the most effected plant. Followed by the others in this set up.

Thanks in advance.

Will the plant heal that bad leaf yellow. Like will it turn green again?

Yep. It's hungry and stressed. The plant is showing signs of being sativa dominant, so it will be a lighter green and narrower than indica.

I'd give it a general-purpose fertilizer and then look for deficiencies. A water-in one would be good. So, what I'd pull off my shelf would be fish, seaweed and kelp liquid. Epsom salts would also help it. So would reducing the light intensity. It basically needs to be nursed back to health.

As BearWater said no bud
It’s not the end losing a few fan leaves as long as you get on top of it and take the advice given you’ll be good in the end.

Don’t leave dead leaves lying around its a easy way to invite a disease, especially when you got a poorly plant

Okay love!!! Thanks for all the tips. Think I was over watering, every 4 days basically.

The new growth is looking a lot healthier. 🤞

Thanks again!

Ive just noticed your pots are sitting on cold tiles , i bet they would do better on something else , if the soil temp is under 19 oC they will grow slow and under 15 oc they will go into shock
