Is hemp farming something to worry about. How far from the plants do you need to be for the pollen not to be an issue?

Last year there was only one guy.
Not sure how many are set to plant this year?

If you aren't in Corn Kountry, you probably won't have a large hemp farm near you.

About 150 applied to grow hemp this year. Very few of those people have seed.

Hemp pollen is one of the most prolific pollens out there. It can travel 7 miles in the air and 20 in water.

There are 8 people who have applied to grow hemp in Boulder County this year. The pollen from these crops will tell us if hemp is going to be a problem for urban growers.

Not sure what is meant by pollen traveling 20 miles in water... do you mean in the clouds? Does pollen become aerosol dust on which moisture condensates and becomes rain?
I'm thinking pollen traveling 20 miles in a creek/river is not going to be a problem.

The only large hemp farm I know about is in Springfield. But as people find seeds I think there will be a lot more smaller farms. People just growing a little because they can, well 150 of them can. Somebody in Denver with a big lot could put half an acre in hemp if they wanted to. I dont think the state cares. Dont know if the city has any ordinance that could stop them.

plants outdoors vs plants indoors? outdoors especially, bee's and insects are very good pollinators.... determine hive(s) distances might be something to consider outdoors.
