Hey I'm new need little advice

Hi everyone I've been doing some research online and stumbled across this site due to curing etc. I've just harvested 4 plants they where really smelly in flower and in the dry tent. Now I've trimmed them up there's no smell there and it's quite harsh to smoke to. I have just put them in glass mason jars to cure 2 days back burping daily.
Where have I gone wrong?
I've read curing helps but I mean I cannot see how it's gonna taste and smell better? Is this normal?

It's smell of nothing and taste like crap!

Growing with a 480w mars hydro led
Using monkey nutrients
Growing in soil

Hung and dryed for 13 days.
Temp and rh was always around 60/60 in the drying room.

Any help would be appreciated.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Harshness goes away with the cure.. it gets rid of chlorophyll. Smell also gets better imo. But you can't help if the strains bad.

yeah you are rolling the dice with barneys, my experience with them was mediocre at best, but that was 15 years ago. Before zkittles was invented

13 days is a little long to dry hanging IMO.
What is the humidity in the jar? You may need to re hydrate?
2 days in jar doesn't do much. Most cure month.

So you are smoking after the dry but no cure, correct? If so, put them in cure for a month. You will be amazed.

That said, garbage in garbage out, no cure will improve bad bud.

In 60/60 it's typical to dry that long though
