What's good brother! Leave him on the other site and you will for sure get a fresh start here. Drama free for the most part on the farm! Nice to have u. We love old hippie knowledge here!
What? NO WAY! I've read of a gal who cured her bulldog using RSO. We've got dog lovers here, we've got cat lovers here. We've got goat lovers and chicken lovers and horse lovers and fish lovers. All may be tasty eatin' but that's the individual's choice. I threaten my dog with turning her into a ham when she does bad things, but she knows I'll never do it.

Btw, my vet got me to put my cats on wet food from the start. She explained how dry food leads to a lot of problems, especially kidney issues, especially in males. I was standing there going, "Uh huh. Uh huh. Right. Yeah. Uh huh." And THEN she said that if allowed to eat a more natural diet (bugs and small animals) that cats almost NEVER drink water, they get all the water they need from their food. She challenged me to an experiment, and damn if she wasn't right--feeding my kitties wet food and they never get into the toilets to drink nor drink from the bowl I have set out for them. Feed them dry food and they're constantly drinking.

I also catch bugs for them, lotsa protein in 'em, plus they're crunchy.

Here are some 'cat buds' for you. :)

I do believe that! In the 60's & 70's, processed dry food was pushed on the public saying it was formulated to meet all nutritional requirements. Mom had always fed the cats scraps. She said they're healthier eating bugs & things as nature intended. She never gave them water. The dogs water was there, but never saw any attempt to drink it, so I thought they went to the spring. Then in the 70's, I bacame a teenager & took over my own animals & went with the info the media fed us & put them on dry food only, with a lg water supply. Then penn vet school, we were taught the best was a little bit of every thing. Dry food was fine as a snack, but meat and some raw veggies should be their main staple. (Mom did NOT want me to 'take a job away from a man who needed to support his family' so when she found out I'd changed my major, afterwards only for months, she yanked me out)

I love pussy willows & that is so perfect! I want that for my avatar on all the forums! But..... cell ph here, cant do it :( I will forever be avatarless.... You are so right about the diet, which is contrary to what the media crammed down our throats in the 60's & 70's. Feed only dry food, formulated to be nutritionally complete! Ummmm.

The most healthiest cat I had was a 14 year old barn cat who mostly ate mice, bird, squirrels...and baby rabbits. I also fed him organic wet food. He never got sick or needed vet work. Last summer he met his fate to a wild bobcat. He had a great life and was a real friend. Personally I am not a fan of vaccines and especially OVER-vaccinating with booster shots. Many well-known vets share my opinions (Dr Martin Goldstein, DVM, for one). The risk vs benefit factors regarding vaccines is controversial. For me, I do not like anything that is FORCED (aka mandated).

I don't want to hi-jack this thread and start a vaccine debate....just sayin.' The truth is out there. ;)

Here is my Bongo, RIP

Here in Md, you ARE forced to vaccinate. Failure to do so is an animal neglect charge, your animals WILL be confiscated & re-homed, & you WILL have a fine & possibaly jail time! Same exact consequences as if you beat or starved them! Then you have a blanket charge FOREVER in your 'record' called Failure To Provide. That term covers ALL neglect, but to a laymans ears, it sounds like you were starving them. Ok.... with that on your public record, try staying employed in the animal care industry. Been there, done that. Truth of the matter, my vet gave the rabies shot, I gave the other vacs myself. Even though its not written into the law per sa, you'll still be charged for Failure To Provide, because you have no documented proof. Your own handwritten records aren't taken seriously, because according to the states attorney, you could haven't wrote that up last night just for court. I don't believe the majority of the animal laws here were created for the sake of animal welfare, I believe they're because this area is trying to overcome its red neck farmer reputation, & one step would be to reduce the animal/pet population. Anyway, back in wwII, my parents generation feared communism most because of the control & loss of freedom.... does anyone not see that we Have No Control Or Freedom now? One inch at a time, its been taken from us while we sat back & did/said nothing!?!? (Wait... there is a political thread or subforum here right?) Anyway...... :)

You werent kidding Cat. Glad to see you here. Larry says hello!!! Xxx BW ;)

Hey! You're here too! How cool is that man! I'd have never reconized you by your username ('handle' to anyone as old as me. 60 last month)! So tell Larry Cat said hi, & when he gives you a big wet one, give him a wetter one from ME! LOL!

i love cats, how does the rso effect your furry friend?
does it slow the cat down or give it more energy. ive been feeding my dog small amounts of rso for the same reason and hes starting to do better

Slooows them waaay down.... but only while they're stoned. I was taught this way....start teeny tiny amount & adjust the amt untill they walk like they are slightly drunk. Then adjust as they acquire tolerance. If anybody knows of more measured way of dosing, I'd be glad to hear it! :)
- Do we have a pet mmj sticky/thread/subforum here? If not, maybe start one?
