First time growing have two plants in grow tent ive been watering my plants with 5ml katana roots and 4ml of shogun start with each litre of water noticed today my plant leaves as some spots on and my other plant the stem is really long they are 8 days old from seedling can anyone help what am I doing wrong

Is the media just coco and perlite, or are there other things in there? What's the EC/ppms of your feed? How often are you watering, and how much water are you giving? What light, how far from the plants?

Might be little to wet if I read right you said a liter that’s a lot I water my seedling with a spray bottle remember to let them dry back properly that very important for the new root to have a good dry back
How far is your light ? What strength is it on ? What soil are you using the more info you give the better answers you will get

That seedling is still healthy It's just got a little heavy for its stem it'll be fine in a few days.

The blemishes on the leafs look like ec/ph issue, what ec are you using?
Are you feeding to run off each time you feed?

Hi sorry all for the lack of information when I posted this currently in loft did have the air intake out of the tent but changed it so filter is now outside the tent with air intake going into the tent mixed with coco and bit of perlite just changed the pot to fabric one as was running off water when watered im using shogun starter pack only used katana roots and shogun start the off days I've been splitting nutrients just them to with a litre of water when soil was still wet but dry on top ive been running 2.5 ml katana roots and 2 ml with each 500ml of water second pic of grow tent with set up running at 600 watt light at 68 f humidty fluctuates between 24% and 35% any help appreciated and thankyou all who's come back to me light is hung around 3 ft from plants had to cut down height of grow tent to fit

Ph 6.5 and watered every day only using shogun starter and shogun katana roots as nutrients not introduced anything else yet lights on 16 hours and 6 hours off

I don't know anything about the nute line you're using, but 600W is an immense amount of light for plants that size. Is the light dimmed down?

No it's full i will reduce the light wattage

I run seedlings under 50W of T5 for the first month, so those both look like overkill to me. I know some people run seedlings under a lot more light...hopefully they can chime in.

Reduced to 250 watt lowest it will go looking at shogun chart for nutrients it suggests using other nutrients after the 2 week mark so just trying to follow that as a new starter changed the pots to fabric and replaced all the soil more or less with fresh stuff and just sprayed the soil slightly with just water no nutirents

Hi all update, turned wattage down on lights to 250 watt 18 hours on 6 hours off no nutrients just water with ph level around 6.5 few squirts out of spray bottle they are coming upto 2 week old now from seedlings does it appear growth as stumped or do they look healthy and correct size for 2 week replanted also into fabric pot and new soil etc

Hey bud, I'm not familiar with shogun nutrient but I'd expect it'll not be much different to others?

For that age I'd mix up 0.8/1.0ec of nutrient and feed it daily to run off once a day at least, the run off part is important to rinse away salt build up.

It's been years since I last used root stimulants I can't advise you on those but you treat the base nutrients as priority, they're needed with every feed every day.

If you don't have a ec meter the recommended dose for that age is a good start.

Just an update on my progress vegative state week 1 from previous post seems some improvement would appreciate any comments in regards to plant health visually. One leave at the bottom seems like it's dying would you cut that off to transfer more energy to the good leaves currently watering with 1 litre of water each pot as surface still is a bit damp so don't want to over water running 1 litre of water with 0.2ml katana roots 2ml shogun coco A and 2ml shogun coco B and 1ml Calmag
