Firs i add cal mag 0.5 to a l of water mix it and wait 3 minuts then micro 7 ml to 10 l of water then grow 7ml to 10l of water and bloom at last 7 ml per 10 l of water each time i mix and wait about 1 2 minutes at the end im checking ph and reduce it with the ph down to 6.0 i use botteled water as its 10 ppm and im still waiting for tds meterHow do you mix your feed water?
Remember coco is not soil... don't let it dry out. Without perlite you will definitely feed less often. If I were in 3-5gal I would definitely be at 30-50% perlite but its not necessary just preference as it will give better growth rates.I maght was under watering before, i fill the pot with water to run off about 10 % now it takes about a day for it to dry (not fully but most) i will be adding extra cal mag as well with feeding from now the directions was 0.5 to 1.0 ml per 1 l of water, every time i water i feed them at the same time
How do you ph down with bottled water? You need a ph and ppm tester. Ph down using PH down. Someone is helping you on the nutrient concentration so I won't comment on thatFirs i add cal mag 0.5 to a l of water mix it and wait 3 minuts then micro 7 ml to 10 l of water then grow 7ml to 10l of water and bloom at last 7 ml per 10 l of water each time i mix and wait about 1 2 minutes at the end im checking ph and reduce it with the ph down to 6.0 i use botteled water as its 10 ppm and im still waiting for tds meter
I will stick to it thanks for goRemember coco is not soil... don't let it dry out. Without perlite you will definitely feed less often. If I were in 3-5gal I would definitely be at 30-50% perlite but its not necessary just preference as it will give better growth rates.
So here is a kinda simple way to eliminate several issues throughout the grow.
Feed 5% of the media volume as nutrient solution each feeding. Of that you want 10-20% runoff. More is ok but wasteful less you may run into nutrient ratio or buildup issues later in the grow.
Eg. 3 gal is 11.3 litres 5% of that is rounding up about 600ml. Of that you want 10-20% runoff so you pour in 600ml and you want 60-120ml of runoff. This help keep PH, nutrient ratios and concentration in check.
This may seem like a lot but COCO is not soil it has a much lower CEC, much higher air holding capacity and much better drainage so nutrients and watering are different. You don't run into the "overwatering" issue very easily because of this. Since overwatering is not to much water but rather lack of oxygen. You need to feed each and every time because the coco won't hold nutrients like soil and you need to water with decent runoff to prevent a build up of available nutrients when using inorganic ferts. Of doing organic in coco then no runoff but leta not get into that.
Now how often you need to feed you base off the runoff. Assuming 3 gal pot... if your adding your 600ml and getting 300ml com out thats 50% runoff and you can lower the frequency of feeding but always keep the 5% feeding. If your getting no runoff then you know you need to feed your 600ml more often. You will notice when young it may be once a day and depending on pot and plant size may be several time a day when they get bigger.
In Coco I would stay between 400-800ppm. 400 when starting out and increasing slowly as they grow in size.
Hope that helps
I have ph meter i dont have only tds meter its ive been told to use bottled water until my tds doesnt comeHow do you ph down with bottled water? You need a ph and ppm tester. Ph down using PH down. Someone is helping you on the nutrient concentration so I won't comment on that
I stick with it thanks for proper explanation, with the water it hits a pocket, but ive been told by a friend who was growing to use bottled water untill my tds meter is coming as its up to 10 ppm, i got the ph meter i havent got tds meter yetHow do you ph down with bottled water? If you live in a city just Google your water report and it will tell youI will stick to it thanks for go

In my area is soft water but i couldnt find whats the ppm here and ph varies feom 6.5 to 9.5 and to conentrarion of the nutes i got schedule on paper from ghr flora witch came qith nutesIf you live in a city just Google your water report and it will tell you
Id you can find a water report it should have the EC/ppmIn my area is soft water but i couldnt find whats the ppm here and ph varies feom 6.5 to 9.5 and to conentrarion of the nutes i got schedule on paper from ghr flora witch came qith nutes
I searched every website there was it only says about hardeness of water or ph level, im pouring 600 ml of water and its a small run off, she seem to grow a bit faster actually, for while i was thinkink about flipping her its 45 cm longId you can find a water report it should have the EC/ppm
Yup what the water harness?I searched every website there was it only says about hardeness of water or ph level, im pouring 600 ml of water and its a small run off, she seem to grow a bit faster actually, for while i was thinkink about flipping her its 45 cm long
It says its hard on website of the supplyerYup what the water harness?
So you probably want RO or a mix of RO and tap.It says its hard on website of the supplyer
Would destillated water be ok? Around my area is hard to get RO waterSo you probably want RO or a mix of RO and tap.
Yup just some tweaking and your off to a good start. What would you guys say does she looks promiseing? Its my first ever plant
Thanks for the link, that is relly good to hear, what is tweaking? Implanning to flush her tonight and tommorow or aftertomorrow start floweringYup just some tweaking and your off to a good start.
You can buy an RO unit cheap if thats an option for you.
tweaking....small changesThanks for the link, that is relly good to hear, what is tweaking? Implanning to flush her tonight and tommorow or aftertomorrow start flowering
Sorry for being freshy, what would you change besides the conversation?tweaking....small changes
