Hi all!

I posted last two years my outdoor grows. This year has been tough. Fighting septoria and wind damage. How do you all support 8-9 foot plants? Just curious. I have bamboo stakes and plant tape but they’re just not enough this year. I was thinking about getting some cattle panel and making a cage with some t stakes. I have an amazing growing space except for the wind. I’ve lost two plants to wind this year. Anyone have any tips on effective ways to support large plants that doesn’t involve a scrog type setup? Also, anyone have ideas about how to eradicate leaf septoria for good? I’m thinking I need to move my plot next year. I’m also thinking about putting in a greenhouse or two. Thoughts?

I can't give much advice for the leaf septoria but i've heard that moving the grow plot will help along with spraying. @cpurola has dealt with it for years she may be able to give some pointers.

I think the cattle/hog panels are a good idea for wide plants also bending them over and tying them down would seem to help. I have 2x2x8ft pointed stakes i purchased for a green bean tpee i made those are really strong. Good hearing from you this year would love to see some pictures of your big gals.

Thanks for tagging me, @Lorlabelle ,hope I'm not too late. Septoria needs moisture and the correct ph to grow and reproduce. If you are willing to spray often, after every rain plus, you can fight back but it's an uphill battle at this point.
