Ive been doing this stuff for 38 years now, thats before there was halide lights and baged soil. The only ferts were what you could get from a department store. MY we have come a long way. Seeds were the ones you got out of bag the day before(not good). The reason I am in this forum is that I have run into something that I havent seen before. Tan mold on top of ocean forrest soil. Dont know what to do.

Got an answer

FoxFarm contacted me and said that their soil is reginaly now. The soil I have has pine bark in not ceder as before. The tan mold is just natural breaking down of that pine bark and no harm will come to the plants.
