Ok hi I have a ? For anyone that is sexing there seeds before germination. And I was wondering if you can tell if it's are gonna be hermaphrodite? I understand the whole circle and being perfectly Chapin without any damage to the circles it's got to be like a complete nice little perfect circle like a little volcano at the top of kernel. Why I ask is I think I may have hermi seeds cuz there coming up like in some buds like 80-90% female. Comparably speaking to the opposite with most commercial crossbreeds. Idk just wondering. Wow Ps I think I answered my own ? In that the hermis will look a male seed. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

never heard of being able to differentiate sex before germination, that would be nice!
I have heard of sending off tissue samples of young seedlings though.

As someone who's recently started I've found like 1/2 of learning about growing is to parse out the "bro science" and the older myths from what's actually scientifically backed. As far as I can tell the only seed sexing tips are all myths unless you've got a lab to do DNA testing. I am happy to be proven wrong though as that'd be super useful.
