I’ve done the tests and yield vs Elyria cost 18/6 is the sweet spot for my electric company - autos do better with some rest period ! They will grow and flower under 24 hrs but y?

Biggest yield comes from a number of things especially with autos light is only a part - again what light u using ? True watts? Keeping the plant healthy and happy with water and nutes if needed is a big part of yield - can’t make any mistakes with autos cuz there’s no time for recovery

I’m using a 1000w falecia light with a small blue and red led light. People have said from my photos my plants look healthy and happy! I’m still giving nutes but should I give water separately aswell?

Well when I start to flower it's the only stuff I use, it was recommended by my hydro guy and works great, it's a bit expensive at $40 for a small bottle but it lasts a long time bc you use so little.

Wish I did not drown my other phone bc I have been here for years and had 100s of pics, but I used the stuff on this plant.

A lot of good feedback here.
My 2 cents worth: I did some autos last year, used 24:0 light:dark cycle.
They didn’t do great and by the time I was finishing up it was just a mess.

This year, I’m growing the same seeds, 18:6 light:dark, the plants look far less stressed.
I am using a different nutrient lone (Flora Nova now versus Fox Farms trio the first time).
I think the 6 hours lights out is a rest period that the plants appreciate. I can see them relax for a while after lights out, but are primed and ready for lights on in the “morning”.

@Edinburg you got anyway we can end to end Encryption? Where I can chat to you about it?? Atami Bloombastic is what my hydro guy suggested I use, a small bottle cost $40, bc I grow autoflowers you do not use the recommended dose bc you will fry them, I keep my grows as simple as possible, in veg I feed them Botanacare Pro grow 60ml per USgal and in 10 years never once burned a plant in veg, when I start to flower them I give a light flush check ph then add a bit of Atami waterd down I do this when the plant has topped off ie stopped growing vertical, autoflowers hate stress so I keep things as simple as possible, a small fan, 2 spotlights from home Depot, a $150 Viperspectra 600w 2 cycle light, a pH meter, and 2 nutes botanacare pro grow and Atami Bloombastic, this autoflower is called cherry fog ie cherry pie x the fog as you can see she completed her stretch and is in med hevey preflower now I want the flower to form structure after that I will start the Bloombastic and the flower will blow up, breeder says plant will take 90 days but the longer you run it the better it will be so I will leave in veg till all flower comes together then use the Atami to blow the flower up.plant popped on valintines day.
