Maybe I shouldnt be in the newbie section...just saying....

Hard to believe they frying at that temp, unless there's a 30f difference if i move the probe 5 inches from where its at...my light is at 5...it goes to 10...

It’s not from temperature dude it’s from overall light exposure. They’re two completely different things. If your light is too close or the output percentage is too high, it can be freezing OK and your plants will fry. There’s only so much light they can stand has nothing to do with heat, it’s light exposure.

Click on my profile.
I wouldn’t bullshit you.
There’s great people here who know what they are doing.
I hope you get it sorted,
Good luck.
And I’m no amateur.

I'm measuring using a ppfd meter. An expensive one. I'm not guessing. So I should dial it down to what 600? I thought 600 was for veg?

Air quailty and co2 available is going to play a role in how much light a plant can take.

With Co2 I'd be pumping 1000 ppfd..

PPFD of at least 510 micromoles/m2/s-1 for the low end of optimal intensity
PPFD of at least 800-1100 micromoles/m2/s-1 for perfect optimal lighting without additional CO2.
PPFD of at least 800-1500 micromoles/m2/s-1 for perfect optimal lighting WITH additional CO2.

With my current exhaust ccfm, ppfd, outside temp, tent temp, 800-850 ppfd is optimal.

600-900 for flower is usually the recommended, I'm usually in the 750-825 range in the middle of flower.

I would agree that with supplement you would be 1000+ ppfd but what I was saying is if someone isn't running supplement and they have air pollutants in their house such as if you're a heavy smoker, fragrances, etc that it could effect air quailty and what the plant can handle.

I would also say heat is going to play a role in how much light a plant can take.

You mean stressed?
It’s ok man . It happens.
Just wondering,
How long have you been growing homie?

Yep I rarely finish over 70% output entire run.

Just finished a 31 strain run for a mowie wowie 86 run. A happy medium lighting wise and sure hand in the nutrients dept are key.
In these situations boosting individual plants is way better to control plants light intake. That way your not cateri g to bitchy strains with the light, give them some phones books to sit on and tell them to shut up πŸ‘ŠπŸ»

Ok. Cool. Enjoy. Have way better things to do than argue. Not worth my time. Have a nice day. Peace....
