:jimlad:I'm an old time grower from back in the mid 70s but haven't bothered for 25yrs so things have changed so much. Still, I think that my appetite and pain will be managed with a smoke. My living arrangements are complicated at the moment so getting a grow together would be amost impossible.
I love my ordinary garden but the weather here in NW England is so temperamental so I dont think the temp/rain would suit.

Welcome to the Farm, wirralmatty. You might want to look into Auto-flowers. I don't know much about them because I live in a warm/hot sunny area. But I'm sure there are folks that can lead you in the right direction.
