I think the main problem is timing the growth cycles. The photos might not be ready to flower when the autos are. Also, why flower autos on a photo's light duration when they benefit from more light? Anyway, I don't run my autos and photos in the same tent. Separating them is much easier.
ofc they should be in separate tents i assumed op doesnt have the extra setup for it and want to make the best of what he has. i don’t even grow autos i grew like a couple of them 10 years ago i think and didnt ever again :)

one of the photos seem like a runt so probably 4 decent ones. there is no conflict you can veg photos under 20/4 or 24 as well.

lets say your autos started flowering next week and you are gonna veg your photos another 4 weeks. this means your autos will get 20/4 schedule for the first 3-4 weeks which will help them grow bigger than 18/6.

so if you are gonna veg your photos anyway why not do it in a way which benefits your autos as well.
Im at ur mercy my friend and happy new year once again i think. So goto

I had no choice due to 10 seeds from 20 seeds from attitude seed bank not germenating with 3 techniques so i wont be using them again pal no way

I dont think were near flowering stage soon.as their small and only 27 days from seed planting im getting new light next week as the ones i bought were supposed to be 2000w leds with power draw each of 80watts but were tripping my fusebox if they hit of each other never buy cheap i learnt the hardway so im getting an omega photon 720w dimmable and its dimensions are near perfect for 1.2x12m tent

i saw your other thread so you were able to solve it i guess that’s nice. as i told you i’d do it my way someone will do it their way. which way makes more sense to you do it that way. there is no perfect answer because perfect answer would be to have two separate setups for autos and photos.

if i was in your position i’d keep them 20/4, mainline my photos (its a form of training you can google that) and that takes time during that time my autos would benefit from the 20/4 and when the photos are ready i’d flip them. this to me feels like the best solution. my 2 cents if you will.

changing 12/12 schedule is what i mean by flip. i am just saying what i would do i can’t advise you on how to grow your weed the most effective way to maximize both photos and autos with your current limitations makes me think i’d do this is if were you.

they are vegging now and autos start flowering around a month usually so i think you should be close to that so the first half of their flowering would be under their normal schedule for autos (20/4) and the rest would be under 12/12 for photos to flower. sure it would hurt auto yields but mainlined photos should give you good yields in this setup.

Cool so i sent u a pic their still quite small both types didnt i? their barely a month from seed. What feed do u use im cocofeed a and b 2ml of each in 2 litres of water. I dont think photos are ready for topping yet but there nearly there 6 sets of leafs then cut above nodes 5mm yeah ? Whats ur thoughts on this square mesh net thing i think americans call it a scog net whats ur thoughts on that. I wouldnt get one when the next grow of 16 10 litre pots of autos as they grow skinny yeah

I was answering the OP's question, which was general in nature, as opposed to asking for specific advice.

Here's what was asked:

It's a good question. I think I had pondered it back before when I was first learning about autos. I haven't thought about it much lately, probably because I mostly only grow photos these days. Now I only grow an auto once in a while for fun.

Advancednutrients.com say this i only fed when it felt dry inch down strange fruit.

Coco Coir Features That May Be A Pro Or A Con

Coco must be fed daily. In order to overcome the cation exchange capacity of the coco, it is still important to use a coco-specific nutrient, but you also want to feed quicker than the coco can negatively react with the nutrients. Coco is extremely difficult to overwater, holding on to oxygen even when drenched, so some hand-watering soil growers may find coco requires more work. However, commercial growers often love this feature because they can connect automated drip lines to the plants.

Not for me soil is much easier to grow with.
But surely u have add nutes etc eventually ive heard of a soil called supersoil i dont know if that can do a full term. What soil do u use and do u not get bugs in soils ?

I make a soil for my outdoor grow in large 15gal pots. I keep it for 2 seasons and amend it with worm castings and other organic ingredients. Then i dump it in my veggie beds. For indoor i buy a good bagged soil like fox farms or dr. earth and mix it with perilite and worm castings which lasts for about a month when i transplant my seedlings into fabric pots. I had gnats 1x not a big deal and i don't get bugs from soil. Outdoor is a different story.
You need to just learn how to care for plants, learn that a small plastic pot does more harm than good and transplant them. You never show the full tent picture with your fans or humidifier or other gadgets you seem to have sooo many struggles. It's a waste what you started with so many plants i don't get it nor does any other grower who talks to you.
Folks here and on the other grow sites you talk too have all said the same thing. I visit other sites to learn about strains or training plants. I started 10yrs ago indoors with 2 photoperiods and nothing but a tent and a light and a fan. And i still grow the same way cause i learned and listened to the experts. Yes i feed my plants with NPK and bloom nutes when they need it.
Everyone develops there own way to grow but the goal is to grow great medicine not dieing unhealthy plants with costs of seeds, soil, food, electricity now adays. I grow big plants during summer, i share with others who can't grow. And yes some supersoils can do it all with just watering.

All my readings say 9 10 litre pots in my size of tent as i will be doing all autos and sativas. My problem was the wrong size/strength of fan i got with buying grow kit they screwed me the tent is good and the canna soil the light was a cheap 600w and tiny compared to what ive got now its 1100x1000 omega photon plus 720w so ive got that right. I will have vents sorted by end of week but if the condensation persists im lost ive got a friend growing 9 in a 1.1x1.1 tent and mines is slightly bigger 1.2

Well I'm in the USA I have to use a converter us vs uk to understand liters an feet. So is your tent a 2ft x 2ft an your pots 2gal? Never heard of that light being sold here in the states.

Hi im just checking that calmag as ive been told and read you add first then nutes but ive just read one article it should be added after nutes which was strange im using bud explosion now starting yesterday 1mg every 4 litres should that go in last and how long should i wait for mix to then water some of u say water straight away but i notice i can get the ec levels down waiting a good half hour. Im happy if its only 2.2 ish but i dont water photos with bud explosion as their not ready. Im going to need to buy more as my friend roy gave me a small tube is that the cheapest and best to buy. Also are we happy with the nutes in tps one liquid from veg to bloom or would u suggest sticking with a 2 part like canna shogun etc thats to roy sativa 1970 and bluter trala and sorry to anybody elses name i cant remember im rubbish with names. All the best jeffc or Chazza69 your pref or Braveheart as one likes to call me. Im still tring to find this expert guy whos great on the maths of nutes hes very good like sativa and others. Thank you
