I am looking for a strain that is high in cbd and low in thc. I need something that I can use in the morning and not get high from it at all. I also don't want something that is going to make me tired. (still need to function and work) I've tried cannatonic and liked it, however I am not able to find any seeds or clones for my caregiver. My caregiver was suggesting zero dark thirty. The only info I can find on it is that it is high in cbd. Not sure about the thc. I also read that it makes you tired. Any info or suggestions would be great, as I am new to all this. I suffer from fibromyalgia and have a lot of muscle spasms with it. Using the ones with thc are great for at bed time, but need to find something for daytime still. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the farm. :) You're going to want to find cuts of Harlequin or AC/DC. While breeders are certainly working on getting these high-CBD strains out, to the best of my knowledge no breeder has them available just yet.

Take care not to go for something that's 0% THC. It does offer you medical benefits, if I recollect it's mostly responsible for relaxing muscle spasticity and neuropathy (one of my issues). The effect of CBD should be one of deep relaxation, so if you're prone to fatigue you may need to titrate that a bit, too.

Because I'm typically a sleepy girl (very low cortisol levels, also make me constantly hungry, as well as rather clumsy, which leads to the injuries which are what I use cannabis for), I prefer strong Sativa-dominant strains. These may be typically higher in THC, and they also take longer to grow out and finish properly. That said, I couldn't get anything done around here without them.

emerald triangle genetics is a source of CBD rich strains I have been very happy with, CS and AC/DC
