LED's have a way to go concerning price and quality - many led's specification are incorrect due to manufacture , many come for china also - would wait a bit - But have seen some good led grow's.

Yes, 1-1.5 grams per watt is usually considered an excellent yield

Are we talking actual draw or we talking what the company selling the led says it is?
For example, the actual wattage draw on a 1200 watt galaxyhydro cob is eight hundred and something watts.

Right, exactly. Full disclosure, I do freelance writing and consulting for an LED company and have never been so excited about a retail/wholesale site I've done work for before... That's why I was curious about growers' current perceptions. I've been working in the cannabis sector for over 12 years.

I have a cob led that I got a few years ago before the price dropped. I have never owned another grow light so I cannot compare but I really like my cob. I might buy a hps light to try just so I can say I like led better...
