HLG Blackbird, anyone else using?

I don’t have the blackbird but I do have an hlg scorpion. Same thing. My light is against the ceiling and running at less than 50%.
Using hlg scorpion, first time for veging seedlings had dimmed about as low as it would go about 6000 par uped a hair to about 8000 as they were looking a bit leggy, slept for 4 hours & my 2 best seedlings were near dead, main stems tread thin, bad mistake I guess, is it wise to use this to veg at all? I could move in my old SF-2000 lights for veg but the scorpion is so heavy I hate to move it.

I used mine for the seedlings in my current grow. But it was like 6 feet above the cups which were set off to the side and not directly under light. I also had it dimmed all the way down. I wouldn’t recommend for seedlings, but I made it work. Only reason I used it was the room it’s in is the only room I could control the environment in the middle of winter.

I suppose I should raise, I have at about half that height, dimmed to 68w from the wall presently, using for garden starts as well.

I use the scorpion rspec, similar light. First run. Didn’t put at 100% until start of week 5 flower. Started flower at 50 and slowly ramped up. Plants grew into it and closest 1 foot away. View attachment 1222903
