Honest Opinion On This Mars Light

Before you write it off read the specs and then please reply with thoughtful and meaningful information. On why it is good or I'd crap.

I know that Mars uses subpar equipment for their products but this thing is basically everything you would use for a self build. The lights pulling 110 from the wall so the cree 3950 has to be getting most of that power. I understand efficiency and life may be effected by running the chip that high but that's what the warrenty is for.

anyway, pushing cxb to almost 100W is just silly.
You are nuts if you considering getting that engine from Mars...:p


Edit: warranty means they will ship you replacement parts to install yourself just an FYI. Mars and warranty is a separate conversation.

That is weird. You posted about Mars, but then you leaning to QB? That is like posting question about KIA, but then saying you are interested in the E-class....

by the way - 2x Samsung LT-F564B is exact same thing as 1 qb for 50% less $
I wish I knew it before I bought 4x QB DIY kits.

I thought much the same thing as has been posted but was wondering if maybe I was wrong but I wasn't. I assumed that running it near the top wouldn't be worth it. I also thought it was overpriced which is surprising for mars.
