To date I have not manually watered these plants. I have given them zero nutrients either.

They are both going into flower now and should start their stretch over the coming days. They won't be massive plants at all and I decided not to LST them. I just want to let them do their thing and see what comes of it.

They are already the size of the Northern Lights I grew last so this will be exciting.

COP Leaf/palm Check:

I did finally have to water these ladies. It's been in the 90°F range all week here and very little rain. I think this is my second time watering them since they broke ground.

They are coming along nicely out on the deck. When the wind isn't blowing, you can definitely smell them now. I live in a wind tunnel though so that's a rare occasion for me to get that opportunity outside.

I have fertilized these gals. I used Osmocote Flower (14,14,14) slow release Fertilizer. I think I mixed that into the soil just after week 1 above ground.

The Mandarin has gotten some solid bud growth at this point:

They are a little taller than I was expecting them to be but still perfect sized for deck growing in close proximity to neighbors .

Day 52 Mandarin:

She's starting to pull nutes from the leaves so I did fertilize her today with some Tiger Farm Big Bloom (20ml/gal).

Here's a cool pic of one of the leaves she's sucking dry of nutrients:

Day 51 Critical Orange Punch:

This gal got some nutes today as well as she is starting to self indulge. Same nutes as above.

These ladies prolly have another 4-5 weeks left in em. We'll see what happens!

My cam on this phone isn't the best but they are still rolling along well. They both still have some time left. The COP will be going on a good bit longer than the Mandarin I think. The COP buds are just starting to plump.

It's Japanese Beetle season but I guess they don't really forage on Cannabis though thankfully. They are eating the shit out of everything else right now .

I'll try and get some trichome pics after the sun sets and post those too.

I don't know, they are both looking pretty even. There are a few Ambers on the Mandarin that I could see though. None on the COP yet.

For sure . And Thanks! Cutting too early was one of my previous problems. I was getting started and wanted that harvest!

Now that I have a backlog of bud, things are more chill...Lol. My plants are fully maturing. Top preference is 90/10 (Cloudy/Amber).

Anyways, I'm high right now and I don't have to cut those plants yet. I know they are not ready. You folks helped me realize such things!

Damn these plants are growing pretty well for almost 0 interference. I could have continued without the Bloom Fertz for sure though.

I have more of the same seeds to compare too. The next time I grow these two, it'll be indoors.

Here she is with all the large fan leaves removed.

Just another close-up of her main cola.

Trichomes looking perfect IMO on the side node buds. The main cola has prolly 70/30 cloudy/amber which is a little more than I'd prefer but it also gets the most sun...

Here she is trimmed off the main stem in preparation for further trimming.

Once fully trimmed, I'm going to try washing these buds since they've been grown completely outdoors too. A moth flew at me during the fan leaf cutting so I bet there's all kinds of critters and dog hair in them buds...Lol. Here are the before pics of the buckets I will use. I'll post after shots once I'm done triming and washing. I'll just be using lemon juice and baking soda for the wash.
