How Can I Fix My Panel? Burned Cob

Hello guys! i had an Apollo 192 COB full spectrum. the COB was damaged and now i was looking for 50 - 100w COB full spectrums at the onlinemarket of my country, and found 50 and 100w full spectrms.

My apollo panel has two drivers working perfect.

Model driver hp060a Input 100 - 240 V a C / Output 70 80 V DC / Contasnt current 520 mA

I think his drivers cant run a 50 or 100w COB full spect cause i found a 50w COB full spectrums are: Potency: 50W Tensión: 30v - 36v Corriente: 1500mA

So, drivers at 520mA and a 50w COB at 1500mA wont work, right? (sorry i dont know very much...)

So a question

* Should i buy a 100w COB + Driver that will work fr that chip right, to fix my panel.
in that case

* What can i do with the two drivers from Apollo? Can i use to make another panel with chips of 3w that are t 700mA ??

Are you sure it's the cob that's dead and not the driver?

100% sure sir, is burned the chip. literally. is the 2nd time it happens and i cant have a 3rd replacement because i bough the led 5 years ago and i cant contact the seller (only a importer and seller ) few years ago shipped me a replazement and they arent good i think.

I'd ditch those drivers too if 2 of your cobs burned out. Might be the driver causing the problem or really bad heat management.

As for the fix, you could get a meanwell driver and some Cree CXB 3590 0r 3070, Bridgelux Vero 29 or 18 or Citizen CLU series.

Thanks Toaster, good idea. tomorrow i ll put 50w full spectrum + driver (its a mini indoor,) meanwhile i start making a led of minimum 90w with 3w high powers and totally other drivers. thanks

you can buy the cob with a driver too and replace both the cob and the driver.
