i’d say your pretty close if not there already, don’t worry as your not in the danger zone yet.
Hey hobb , really depends on your own personal goals , and how much light energy you have , how big of a plant do you want ? Usuallly in a moderate size setup up , lets say 600 wtts a 3 gal final pot is a good size , just decide how long you want to veg and how big you want your plant , 5 gal would be a max size for a entry level grow operation with 3 gal prob being optimal , the condition your plant looks in now , i would say its been topped , and probable has a plenty strong root mass , so you can go up in size immediately , as long as its already spent a few weeks (2) in the present container ....
Sorry if it sounds vague , just a rough idea , its really up to you as to decide how big and how long you want to veg...
Just my opinion, others may offer different advice..
Got it from a friend so didnt have much of a choice when it came to the container, Would it be possible to drill more holes in the bottom later to get more drainage ? or should i just toss the pot and use my own. Will transplant today and update the threadHeyy hobb , and i would deff get away from using that type of container with the fixed saucer on the bottom , you want a pot with free drainage holes , as to not soak the medium causing a shitload of problems .....
Was mainly worried about the lack of drainage in the pot, doesn’t drain well and it’s kinda crap. Wouldn’t hurt to transplant before an issue right?I would wait til the plant is about 2/3 bigger than the pot for a fully developed rootball. No need to transplant until then.

well kinda, that’s a big pot for a small plant, if your going to 15gallon than ya give it another week or two at least.
or if you do transplant, you’ll have to water so carefully, you better know what your doing and how to care for it till it starts to take off growing.
the plant looks good in that container so far, so just continue a little longer. patience!

always keep the area clean and fresh!

15 gallon and there are roots now coming out of the bottom of the current one, can I still move it but be careful about watering ??@Hobblebush with your tent and size light, 5 gallon fabric bag seems about right if you ask me. That other pot you can use next time, just add holes like you were thinking. If it’s got a saucer connected, not my first choice though, that would be fabric any size.
