How do they look? First time grower they're 8 days from germination just some regular seeds out of some gorilla glue I smoked.

So I took a look at the bottom of all my solo cups and all the roots on every plant have reached beyond the holes.

I didn't get any good pictures sadly and I didnt realize until after I transplanted them.

I transplanted them into one gallon pots, which is also temporary until my 5 gallon buckets arrive.

But I didn't want to wait and the roots not have space to grow.

I put 4 into one gallon pots and 1 into the ground. The small one I still have in a solo cup.

I think they are taking well to their new home so far they are 14 days old today!

The only thing I've given is water and a little bit of 4-10-3 root booster, the brand is bonide garden rich root and grow.

Day 17

One in the ground and 4 going into 5 gallon buckets soon from the one gallons
Fox farm soils on the way alone with pest traps cal mag and nutrients planning on transplanting on Tuesday or Wednesday.
So far I've only gave them water 4-10-3 and 1-1-1 once, before that i gave 4-10-3 once and other than that its been just water

The 4-10-3 is bonide root and grow.

When I transplant I'll be using fox farms for the veg stage.

Day 18

Took the one out the ground and put it in a 5 gallon bucket.

The rest will be transplanted to 5 gallon buckets on Monday

Come transplant I'm gonna hit them with 4-10-3 root booster and once more a week later

Then for the rest of veg I'll be using fox farm grow big

Along with some 1-1-1 and cal-mag

For now I'm doing a little light stress training on them all.

Here's another update!

What have you got against fabric pots? I just don’t see where those buckets are going to make your life any easier. I hope you prove me wrong!

I wish you could’ve heard a huge sigh of relief! Good man!😅
So the 5 gallon fabric pots came in. I transplanted 2 days ago.
One out of the five plants went through shock but is back up and healthy.

Its looking like I'm gonna need to water again tomorrow.

How much should I water / what's your watering method on 5 gallon fabric pots?

They are 21 days old today I'll take some pictures before the end of the day.

Just off the top of my head, I think I would continue watering them like seedlings. I may be in ever widening circle around the plant as the canopy spreads. Using your minds eye to make sure the water is getting down in the vicinity of the root ball. I don’t start soaking in the entire pot until I get four or five nodes. But that’s me. I don’t like hearing how often should I water. I think it’s more important to ask, how much longer should I let them dry back. And usually the answer is more. LOL. Your climate has a lot to do with how long that will take. That’s where perlite is your friend. Encourages the dry back. You have five plants. Try five different ways of watering. And observe the results. Now I will go look at my plants and see if they need more dry back.😄 the plants will talk to you. All you have to do is learn their language! I think one of the most accurate statements in outdoor growing in soil is that pot plants like dry feet!

UPDATE: 23 days old today.

they're all in 5 gallons or very close.

I've done a little light stress training on 4 of the 5

Took pictures during the stress training and after I took the weights off

I TOPPED one and FIMMED one.

They had their last feeding of 4-10-3

Come Saturday I'll just water them

Then Wednesday I'll start feeding the fox farm grow big for the rest of veg.

Prob gonna continue light stress training other directions and see how wild they get.

Looking good, our plants are about the same age (except I'm indoors). Be careful of too much abuse when they are still small. Started mainlining my last grow a little early and stunted one. Can't wait to see how they finish!

Keep the cloth bags off the ground for airflow underneath too, couple sticks or whatever you got. I water a gallon at a time in 5 gallon bags, maybe once/week, whenever they get light.

I have two bricks under the blue and white ones and the green ones are on a rack off the ground. I don't think you can see the bricks though from the angle I took the pictures!

Oh yea for sure! When I put the weights on its usually for 30 mins or less I've only done it twice now, I was a little more careful doing it to the ones I topped and fimmed.
Just been anchoring it into the soil without much pressure.
But I admit I'm getting more nervous the further I get into the grow.
It's the first time I've ever made it this far lol. I just keep reading more and more forums on here and taking everyone's advice, watching YouTube videos has become my favorite in my spare time.
