How do you figure how many nutrients to add to your rez??

How do you guys measure how much is in the system? I was all crazy and bought 3 gallons of distilled water and poured in a 5 gallon contianer, 0 ppm, then added 6 ml of aqua flakes A(2ml/gal) which raised it to 110 ppm and then 6 ml of Aquaflakes B brought me to 200 ppm. SO i fill my UC to the desired level and add A until i get to 110 PPM and then divide by two to get the totall gallons.

is there an easier way?? I feel like i am doing it the stoner way.

Which model UC do you have?

I have UCE9XL13's so 10 x 13g modules. 'Full' system is 130 gallons. I figure where my water line is, I'm at ~100 gallons.

Why are you running part A at 2ml and B at 6ml?

Equal parts of A and B.

Personally I shoot for 'desired' ppms, if you want to run at half strength nutes and the label says 8ml/gal, I would use 400ml of A and B. That is a ballpark, so start at 300ml and add equal parts until you hit what you want/need.

Don't pour concentrated nutes directly into your epicenter.
