How do you guys program the heating?

Hi fellow growers,

My tent has been a bit cold for my liking, around 18c during the day and it drops to about 14c at night. My plant is mid flower and I wanted to raise my temps a bit so I got a small heater, which turned out to be way to strong so I need to put it on a temp controlled socket. When should I tell it to turn on/off ? I was thinking something like 16 on and 20 off, or maybe 18 on 21 off. How do you guys do it?

my heater has a digital thermostat on it i have it sitting outside my tent in the room the tent is iit is programmed at 68f my tent stays between 69f with lights off to 87f with lights on
