How do you know how many weeks to harvest?

Hey guys how do you tell without timing from the start of flowering cycle when the plant is ready for harvest? I am in So Cal, the trichomes still appear to be glassy. Thank you

Do these little balls tell you anything?

Not really they are the preflowers that formed first and thus mature and amber first usually.

Three weeks to go possibly a touch more, would take more advice than mine in that bit an outdoor fellow.

Cool so I should probably give the plant another week of fertilizer than the last 2 weeks, straight hose water
